Terms.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and LEGAL ENTITY NAME ("Postmeter", "we", "us"). They cover the Postmeter iPhone app, postmeter.app, and the bio links and cards Postmeter creates. The Privacy Policy is part of these terms. Using Postmeter means you accept both. If you don't, please don't use it.

2. Who can use Postmeter

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract where you live. If you use Postmeter for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your device and Apple ID secure. Tell us at hello@postmeter.app if you think someone else is using it.

4. Subscriptions

• Postmeter requires a subscription. There's no free tier: you need an active subscription to use the app.
• Plans and prices. Plans renew weekly, monthly or yearly. The price, billing period and currency are shown in the app before you buy and depend on your App Store country. The price at purchase is the price you pay.
• Free trial. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, once per Apple ID, for accounts Apple says are eligible. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged. If you buy a different plan during the trial, the rest of the trial ends.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds. Apple handles all payments and refunds under its own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restore. Use Restore on the paywall to bring a subscription to a new device or reinstall.
• Price changes. If a price goes up, Apple tells you first and, where required, asks you to agree before you're charged the new price.
• When a subscription ends, Postmeter releases every app it had locked the next time it opens, and stops the nightly check. We never keep your apps locked to make you pay. Your setup stays on your phone for when you come back.

5. What the lock is, and isn't

Postmeter uses Apple's Screen Time to keep the apps you pick locked and to open one for a posting session. It's a tool you choose to hold yourself to. It is not a guarantee.

• You can remove Postmeter's Screen Time access or delete the app at any time, and iOS will lift the locks. That's by design.
• Locks depend on iOS. They can fail or behave differently because of iOS updates, device settings, Screen Time restrictions set by someone else, or bugs, and a posting session can end early or late.
• Postmeter is not medical, psychological or addiction treatment. If phone use is harming you, please talk to a professional.

The rules you set

When you save your posting setup (platforms, apps, posts a day and session length), it stays locked for 24 hours. After a posting session, that platform cools down for an hour. The locked app offers one extra minute per posting session. These rules are the product working as intended. We won't lift a setup lock or cooldown early, and support can't either.

6. Your numbers

Views, clicks, installs and other stats come from the platforms you connect, from Apple, and from our own link counting. They can arrive late, be estimated, be incomplete, or change after the fact. Treat them as a meter, not an audit. Postmeter doesn't promise any number of followers, views, clicks, installs or revenue.

7. Connected platforms

When you connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat, Reddit or App Store Connect, you let Postmeter read the data listed in the Privacy Policy on your behalf. You must follow each platform's own terms. The platforms aren't part of this agreement, don't sponsor or endorse Postmeter, and can change or withdraw their APIs at any time. If they do, a Postmeter feature may stop working. That isn't a breach of these terms, though we'll do our best to keep things running.

YouTube. Postmeter uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Your bio link

Postmeter gives you a short link that forwards to an address you choose. You're responsible for that address. You may not point it at:

• malware, phishing, scams, or anything that tricks people about where they're going;
• illegal content or goods, or sexual content involving minors;
• harassment, hate, threats, or impersonating someone else;
• spam, or anything that breaks the rules of the platform where you post the link.

Don't fake or inflate clicks. We may check destinations and disable a link that breaks these rules, and we may reclaim a handle that's misleading, infringing, or unused. If your account is deleted, your link stops working. If your subscription ends, your link keeps forwarding for at least 30 days before we may retire it.

9. Your content

You own your content: your videos, your links, your numbers. To run Postmeter, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you. That includes drawing your cards. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anything you've already shared yourself. You're responsible for what you share.

10. Fair use

Don't:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell Postmeter, except where the law says you can;
• get around its security or limits, or scrape it, overload it, or probe it without our permission;
• use someone else's account or connect accounts that aren't yours to connect;
• use Postmeter to break the law or any platform's rules.

11. Our stuff

The Postmeter name, the P mark, the app, its design and this website belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Usage Rules. If you send feedback or ideas, we may use them with no obligation to you.

12. App Store terms

If you got Postmeter from Apple's App Store:

• This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Postmeter and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Postmeter.
• If Postmeter fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Postmeter.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about Postmeter, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection and privacy claims, and claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• You confirm you're not located in a country under a US government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and you're not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use Postmeter, such as your mobile carrier's.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Ending things

You can stop using Postmeter at any time and delete your account (see data deletion). Cancel your subscription separately in iOS Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Postmeter. When we can, we'll tell you first and, if we end Postmeter entirely, refund any prepaid period through Apple where possible. Sections 6, 9 (for content already shared), 11 and 14 to 18 survive.

14. Disclaimers

Postmeter is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that Postmeter will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any lock or number will be accurate. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, followers, views, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Postmeter is limited to the greater of what you paid for Postmeter in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Indemnity

If you use Postmeter for a business, you'll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your link destinations, or your breach of these terms or the law. This doesn't apply to consumers where local law prohibits it.

17. Governing law and disputes

If something goes wrong, email hello@postmeter.app first. Most problems get fixed faster that way, and we'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of STATE, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in COUNTY, STATE. If you're a consumer in the EU, UK or elsewhere with mandatory local protections, you keep them, including the right to bring a claim in your home courts.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Postmeter changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for material changes we'll tell you in the app at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using Postmeter after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, cancel and stop using it.

19. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Postmeter. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing a right isn't waiving it. You can't transfer these terms without our consent, but we can transfer them to a successor. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
