Your data
Delete it.
Disconnect one platform or wipe everything. No forms, no guilt trip.
-
Disconnect a platform
In Postmeter, open your connected platforms and disconnect the one you want gone. We delete its access tokens right away and its stats within 30 days (YouTube data within 7).
You can also cut access from the platform's side, which stops us reading anything straight away: Google / YouTube, Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites), TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security & permissions), X (Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions), Snapchat (Settings → Connected Apps), Reddit.
-
Delete your account and everything with it
Email privacy@postmeter.app with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address on your account. If you used Hide My Email, include the address shown on the You screen in Postmeter.
We'll confirm it's you, delete your account, platform connections and tokens, stats, tracked videos, bio link and its click history within 30 days, and email you when it's done. Your bio link stops working.
-
Cancel your subscription
Apple bills your subscription, so deleting your account or the app doesn't stop it. Cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Postmeter.
-
Clear your phone
Delete the Postmeter app. iOS removes Postmeter's Screen Time permission and every lock it set, along with everything the app stored on your iPhone. To disconnect Sign in with Apple too, go to iOS Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Postmeter → Stop Using.
Instagram and Facebook data
If you connected Instagram, Postmeter stored your Instagram account ID, username, profile picture, follower count, your posts and reels with their insights (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, profile visits, link taps), and an access token.
To delete it:
- In Postmeter: disconnect Instagram. The token is deleted immediately and the rest within 30 days.
- By email: write to privacy@postmeter.app with the subject "Delete my Instagram data" and your Instagram username. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
- In Instagram: removing Postmeter under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites stops our access immediately. Then use one of the two options above to delete what we already have.
What we keep
Only what the law makes us keep, such as records of subscription transactions for tax purposes, plus daily click totals on a deleted link that can't identify anyone. Backups roll off within 35 days of deletion. Screen Time data is never on our servers, so there's nothing of it for us to delete.
Tapped someone's Postmeter link?
We don't store anything that identifies you. There are no cookies, and your IP address is discarded once we've worked out your country. If you still want to ask us something, email privacy@postmeter.app.
More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
